The Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC) offers six stunning architectural perspectives of Vancouver and Victoria through its summer walking tours. Tours are available from Thursday, July 2 through Saturday, August 29, 2009. No tours are given on Sundays or Mondays.
Tours are $5.00 CAD each (including GST) per person; payments accepted in Canadian cash only. Register on site before each tour. Subject to availability, morning tours may be arranged for groups of 15 to 30. Please contact the AIBC at least one week in advance for details. Groups of eight or more must register ahead of time by calling 604.683.8588, x333 or by e-mailing tours@aibc.ca.

* Chinatown: Yesterday & Today
* Strathcona: Neighbourhood of Change

All afternoon tours start at 1:00 pm and last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, rain or shine.

* Old Town & Chinatown
* Ecclesiastical Architecture
* Art Deco & Moderne in Victoria
* James Bay
Tours 1 – 5 start in front of the Community Arts Council office in the Sussex Building Courtyard at G6 1001 Douglas Street. Tour 6 (James Bay) starts at the statue of Queen Victoria in front of the British Columbia legislature buildings on Belleville street at the Inner Harbour. All afternoon tours start at 1:00 pm and last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, rain or shine.
