Acton Ostry Architects win interior design awards
Vancouver’s Acton Ostry Architects emerged winners from the Interior Design Institute of BC’s Awards of Excellence on February 15, 2005. The firm won two awards in the categories of Residential Interiors Renovated and the 2004 Judges’ Special Award for Universal Design for their interior renovation of the Siple House. The focus of the project was to improve wheelchair accessibility in the North Vancouver residence for its owner. The jury felt that the design was "a great example of a client’s needs being addressed without sacrifice to design aesthetics."
