CLU Foundation International Design Competition

Since 2004, Philips Lumec’s “Concept Lumière Urbaine” (CLU) strives for excellence by enhancing the conscientious integration of product plastic quality, technological advancement in outdoor lighting and respect of the environment. The CLU Foundation competition is open to all students and young professionals with up to five years of experience – operating in the fields of industrial design, urban planning, environmental design, engineering, architecture and landscape architecture.

Students and young professionals can put into practice the knowledge acquired during their academic training, and can meet the challenge of promoting aesthetic, technological and environmental excellence. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase their potential to professionals in the industry. For examples of past winners, please visit www.lumec.com/pdf/CLUgagnants2008-2009_ANG.pdf

Entrants have a chance to win one of the three grants totalling $ 5,000. The submission deadline is April 30, 2010. For more detailed information and the registration form, please visit www.lumec.com/company/fondation_clu.html
