Paris architects Jean-Marc Ibos and Myrto Vitart lecture at National Gallery

Located in Paris, the design firm Ibos & Vitart was established by Jean-Marc Ibos and Myrto Vitart in 1989. In their work, Ibos and Vitart undertake a detailed analysis of the programmatic elements, economic limitations and issues peculiar to the site in order to formulate and plan a project that will be relevant, effective and critical. From housing to retail space to cultural centres, their work spans the gamut of design and includes the multiple-award winning Fine Arts Museum of Lille and the conversion of warehouses into a public library in Strasbourg.

Ibos and Vitart will deliver a lecture on their work and process at the National Gallery in Ottawa at 6:00pm on Thursday, November 19, 2009.

The lecture is presented by KWC Architects Incorporated in partnership with the French Embassy & Culture France.
